After 15 years of using the same fee schedule for community development services, the Box Elder County Commission on Wednesday updated that schedule to better reflect current costs. The new fee amounts come at the recommendation of Roybased consulting firm Planning Outpost, which undertook a fee study beginning in January of this year. “It’s been a while since the fees have been updated, 15 plus years, so they’re a little stale,” said Fred Turnier, the company’s principal planner.
