The race for Box Elder County Commissioner Seat C isn’t over yet, as Tremonton rancher Sam McMurdie has filed to run as a write-in candidate. McMurdie finished in third place behind Steven Zollinger and Tyler Vincent in the Republican primary in June, with Vincent, the former Brigham City mayor, going on to win the primary and become the official Republican nominee with 3,806 votes to McMurdie’s 3,102.
