The Box Elder County Commission on Wednesday appointed Jon Bunderson, Tim Munns and Bill Myers to the Box Elder County Deputy Sheriff’s Merit Commission. The merit commission was established by the legislature in 2009 for Utah counties with more than 20,000 residents. Its purpose is to ensure fairness and merit-based selections for promotions within the sheriff’s office.
