As part of a large water conservation and sustainability bill, S.B. 211, Utah Governor Spencer Cox last week appointed Box Elder County’s Joel Ferry as the state’s water agent, in addition to serving as executive director of the state’s Department of Natural Resources. The bill, as described by Cox, goes beyond water conservation and efficiency of use, and Ferry will seek ways to increase the state’s supply. The bill, co-sponsored by Senate President J.
