At Wednesday’s Box Elder County Commission meeting, Jay Capener of the Bear River Canal Company was renominated to serve another four-year term on the Bear River Water Conservancy District Board of Trustees. In addition to Capener, Kelly Lemon from Collinston was nominated to replace Mark Larson, whose term expires at the end of December. The nominations were unanimously approved by the commissioners. The Bear River Water Conservancy District was created by a court decree under the guidelines of the Utah Water Conservancy Act.
