Brigham City has selected local attorney and realtor Malone Molgard as the recipient of this year’s Jim Davis Extraordinary Service Award. Each year since 2002, the city has bestowed the award on an employee or citizen whose time and talents have been used to benefit others in the community “in a way that goes above and beyond their duties.” The award is offered in memory of former Brigham City Public Power Director and City Councilmember Jim Davis, who died suddenly in 2002 from an aggressive form of cancer.
