Dr. Bruce Parker with Planning and Development Services, the firm hired to create Willard City’s new general plan, appeared before the Willard City Council on Thursday to update city officials on progress. Parker said that since the city has opted not to go through with any additional public surveys, his team should have a rough draft of the general plan ready for inspection by the council no later than Feb. 21. Parker anticipates they will need two or three work sessions with the council to get the document into a final draft stage to be presented to the public.
