A story in the Jan. 19 edition (“Perry’s strong balance sheet lauded in clean audit report”) contained an error. While the audit was performed and presented by accounting firm Christensen, Palmer & Ambrose, the financial statements being audited were prepared by Davis & Bott, as in previous years. “David Rogers of Davis & Bott was not able to make our meeting, so Chuck Palmer (of Christensen, Palmer & Ambrose) presented both, which I am sure is what caused the confusion,” wrote Perry City Recorder Shanna Johnson. We regret the error.
