As the state seeks to bridge the “digital divide” and expand broadband networks throughout the state, the Utah Broadband Center has launched a statewide internet speed test campaign to identify and map areas with no internet access or low speeds. In partnership with GeoPartners, a geospatial engineering firm, the Utah Broadband Center will use the data to guide projects that will increase access to high-speed internet for all Utahns and augment the state’s database of internet availability across Utah.
