Governor Spencer Cox last week signed into law a bill that changes the filing periods for running for elected positions. The bill, S.B. 170, changes the candidate filing period from March 7 through 11, to Feb. 28 through March 4, a full week earlier. “The caucus night this year falls on the second day of the filing period,” said Sen.
