In order to compensate for an increase of per ton in tipping fees at the Box Elder County Landfill, the Brigham City Council on Thursday approved a request from Public Works Director Tyler Pugsley to raise garbage collection fees charged to residents by 3.69%. The change in fees will equate to an increase of 22 cents per month for customers with 90 gallon containers, and 72 cents a month for those with 300 gallon containers.
