Breakfast on the Beach

Yesterday we finished up with Jesus meeting the disciples in the ordinariness of their fishing trip.  Jesus meets them in their failure to catch fish – not a good night’s work.  And Jesus brings transformation – empty nets – to bursting nets, bursting with large fish.

Then we get that beautiful moment, when the Lord, the Creator of the Universe gives such a simple, beautiful invitation – ‘Come and have breakfast’ – Jesus uses the fish, the disciples caught, as they share this precious resurrection moment.
