Whenever I can predict speed might win me the battle, I go for PYRE and COUNTESS SINASH with a bit of Blast impact and that is where FIRE ELEMENTAL comes in with the Blast ability.

We are looking at a card which is very economical with it's stats, it gains an extra speed at level 2 which makes it very fast. At level 4 it is back to 2 Health bit Range damage of 3 and Affliction ability at level 5 with Redemption at max level.

Basically, FIRE ELEMENTAL is telling us, you are not going to get much Health out of me but speed and abilities are destructive.

Unless I was an extra speed, I see no need to upgrade it for level 2 but lets look at the cost of FIRE ELEMENTAL.

With $1.50 you will get away with a Regular Foil of FIRE ELEMENTAL while you will have to pay just around $17 for the Gold Foil.
