As United Teachers LA and LAUSD move towards the largest strike we've seen in decades student Norma Garcia joined me to talk about new ideas for high school history curriculum. Every year students travel to Sacramento for the Student Advisory Board on Education meeting to develop ideas to improve their education.

Norma helped develop plans to make high school history curriculum more inclusive so that students feel more directly connected to what they are learning.
