Weapon Of Mass Destruction
The story of the life of David, is where we have drawn the foundation for our current message series "Favour Follows The Fight".
1 Samuel 18:6-9 MSG
As they returned home, after David had killed the Philistine, the women poured out of all the villages of Israel singing and dancing, welcoming King Saul with tambourines, festive songs, and lutes. In playful frolic the women sang,
Saul kills by the thousand,
David by the ten thousand!
1 Chronicles 19:18 MSG
David killed seven thousand chariot drivers and forty thousand infantry.
1 Chronicles 18:6 MSG
God gave victory to David wherever he marched.
The bible says that we will face battles, just like King David. Our battles will be spiritual battles, and we WILL need to engage with them to see victory in our lives, in the lives of our families, friends, workplaces, marriages, schools, businesses...to see our 'God destinies' fulfilledand our 'God dreams' come to pass!

For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energised with divine power to effectively dismantle the defences behind which people hide.

King David fought physical battles, yes, BUT, he too knew that the power of SUPERNATURAL weapons was were where he would find his victory!

1. Worship
1 Samuel16:23NLT
“And whenever the tormenting spirit from God troubled Saul, David would play the harp. Then Saul would feel better, and the tormenting spirit would go away.”
Psalms 100:1-3TPT“Lift up a great shout of joy to the Lord! Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere! As you serve him, be glad and worship him. Sing your way into his presence with joy! And realize what this really means— we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God.
When we GATHER and SING, SHOUT, EVEYRONE, EVERYWHERE.....
When we gather, everyone form everywhere and worship, we are honing, sharpening our weapons of war!
2. Leadership
Psalms 139:23-24NLT
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”
God is always leading YOU somewhere...
You are called to lead others who God has entrusted to you....You too ARE a leader!
As the leader of you family, your ministry, business, workplace, as la leader of YOUR OWN LIFE.....are you .asking God to test you, prepare you, to deal with your brokenness, are all steps on your leadership journey to FINDING FAVOUR IN EVERY FIGHT.....this is what David knew!!

3. Joy
This is the secret weapon of MASS destruction!
King David knew this to be true...
Psalms 30:4-5NLT
“Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
Psalms 126:5-6NLT
“Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.”
Romans15:13TPT
“Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!”
God calls ALL of us into this life of VICTORY...AND these weapons of mass destruction are not meant to be secrets, in fact Jesus died so that ALL could know, eternal life, and life to the full! If you want to receive all that Jesus has for you today...invite Him into your life!
Jesus, this is my decision
Today I say yes to you
You died on the cross
To pay the price for my sin.
I invite you to be my saviour.
Come into my life.
Forgive my sin.
Fill me with the power of your holy spirit.
