Black power is more than a mantra, it's the embodiment of entrepreneurship in black communities. That power has been floundered by the lack of support from those who have been conditioned to view all things black as bad or inferior. Segregation was horrible and should never be practiced again, but what segregation proved was that black peoples' cooperative effort did lift a great number of people in communities of color out of poverty. That sense of community pride is not lost and can be reestablished by and with the support of those who strive to work for more than self.
