Colorado farmers, ranchers, and green industry businesses struggle to recruit and retain a qualified workforce, yet we lack the data to accurately understand the trends for each ag sector. Research and Extension faculty from Colorado State University are collaborating with key Colorado ag sector partners to design and promote an online survey intended to characterize how multiple labor related factors are impacting farm and ranch business perceptions, planning, operations, and decision making, in addition to mapping current trends and needs of ag employers in Colorado.
