Jonah 3-4While Jonah took a detour, God’s will remained steadfast. We are so thankful for our God who is gracious, merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

• Nothing pierces God’s slow anger like repentance.
• What pleased God displeasedJonah.
• Instead of striking Jonah down in that moment… we see God reaching out, and encouraging Jonah to pause and reflect.
