Hello, Lodge Members...
In today's episode, we take a deep dive into the world of preparing for 1. assuming the role of a leader when called upon.. and 2. being a more effective leader by knowing the work and language of those you lead. In my many years as a leader, many of the functions that I once did (solo) are now more complex and detailed. Yet, I need to be able to understand the nuances of those new roles and be able to support the members of my team effectively. If I don't support them effectively, how can I expect them to be highly effective?
Today, I give insight to you to prepare yourself to be capable of extending that hand when needed. Examples from the world of business, sports, politics, and entertainment are provided as a backdrop into the need for this thinking.
