To describe the Salvation Army as a calling for Maj. Paul Egan would be an understatement, a more fitting term would be a destiny. Beginning young and growing through the organization, Egan, and his wife Karen, have called many cities home while working with the Salvation Army and their latest is Savannah — a place close to Egan's heart as he was born in Hinesville and grew up in Beaufort.
