Ruby Kholifa is an Indonesian activist, civil society leader, and peace figure. As Indonesia settles into its role as ASEAN Chairman, Ruby discusses how Indonesian government and civil society are working to implement the Regional Plan of Action on Women, Peace and Security (RPA WPS), especially in Myanmar. She also shares her experience convening thousands of women ulama (Muslim religious scholars) to promote gender-sensitive interpretations of the Quran.
