In this episode, we talk about... talking!! That's right - we talk about all the things that prevent a good conversation from happening (like small talk, social awkwardness, and awkward silences), and discuss ways to have better conversations both online and offline. How do you get past the small talk stage? Is small talk really as bad as we make it out to be? What makes an awkward silence? We share our personal insights and pet peeves - like receiving short replies and getting seen zoned - and talk about ways we want to improve as conversationalists. We hope you enjoyed this more rambly and personal episode! Many of the things we talk about in this episode are things we are trying to get better at. Everyone has their own way of talking online and offline, so we definitely are not trying to impose our opinion on others :) Our discussion was inspired by Ali Abdaal and his podcast "Not Overthinking."
