In this episode, we’re talking about the need to “Change Your Mind to Change Your Life”.

To highlight the growth process, I want to talk about three animals and their growth process - sharks, crabs, and eagles.

Sharks come in all shapes and sizes, from a couple of inches long to 60 feet.

The same shark that will only grow to 8 inches in a fish tank can grow to 8 feet in the ocean.

The Principle: Your environment can limit or allow your growth.

Choose wisely.

Crabs come in different varieties, but we’re focusing on growth here.

When they get too big for their shell, they have to get rid of it.

Without their shell, they’re vulnerable.

So they bury themselves in the sand while their new shell grows and hardens.

They are also able to grow new legs or claws when they’re torn off.

The Principle: Growth is a vulnerable time.

Put protective measures in place to keep you alive as you grow.

Sometimes, you’ll lose things you thought you needed, only to find out the ability to recreate them comes from inside of you.

When it comes to eagles, their talons and beaks will be the point of our focus.

Eagles sharpen and cleanse their beaks by wiping them back and forth across rocks and tree limbs.

Likewise, their talons are kept manicured by grabbing onto rocks and tree limbs.

The Principle: The rough things you go through just might be what keeps you sharp and helps you develop the skills you need to survive.

Your growth will often require a new environment, a little bit of vulnerability, and rough spots to develop you.

Your desired future depends on you to submit to the process and…
