In this episode, we’re talking about “"A" Framework for Achievement”.

In short, climb the ladder to your achievement.

Much of our stress, frustration, and anger comes from living in uncertainty.

While youth have energy, they have little to no idea of where to apply that energy.

While the old have wisdom, they don’t have the energy to do all that they know to do.

The best case…

Get the wisdom of those ahead of you and max it out by applying it using the energy you have.

Sidenote: Find ways to increase your energy.

Back to the conversation of achievement…

You can speed up and increase the number of achievements you have by tapping into frameworks.

Frameworks acknowledge that much of success follows a process of sorts.

Frameworks give you a level of certainty that allows you to move forward confidently even though you don’t know the exact circumstances you’ll encounter.

Here’s a seven step process/framework most achievers go through:

  1. Aspiration
  2. Awareness
  3. Acquisition
  4. Action
  5. Assessment
  6. Adjustment
  7. Achievement

Let’s break it down.

You may want to pause this as you go and write it down.

ASPIRATION

An aspiration is something you want to be, do, or have.

At this stage, the point is to be honest and clearly define the outcome you desire.

AWARENESS

Once you get clear on what you honestly want to be, do, or have, you become aware of the people, processes, or products that’ll help you get your desired outcome.

You speed up that process by continuing to search for the “how to” make it happen.

ACQUISITION

Once you become aware of the people, processes, or products that can help you achieve your desired outcome, you have to acquire them.

At the outset, you might have to go with free resources.

Ideally, you’ll be able to upgrade to a paid version that will increase your odds of achievement.

That could be hiring a coach, paying for training, buying the tools you’ll need to make it happen.

ACTION

Once you’ve acquired the coach, information, or products you need, now you have to take action.

Action on information without coaching will lead to more mistakes than action with feedback from a coach with proven experience.

There’s a learning curve of every tool you use in the achievement of your goal.

That leads us to the next step…

ASSESSMENT

It’s important for you to evaluate your results properly.

Simply, you’re going to be bad before you’re good and good before you’re great.

Too many exit because they’re bad.

Bad is simply a state of development, giving you feedback that you need to improve your performance or your process.

ADJUSTMENT

After looking at your results, it’s important to consider them feedback, not failure.

Feedback can always be used for correction, which is the pathway to improvement and success.

To rapidly improve, this is often where you’ll go back to your coach, process, or products manual to make sure you are using everything the way you should.

You may be taking the right actions, but your execution might just need to improve in precision and speed.

ACHIEVEMENT

The cycle or action, assessment, and adjustment, gives you the opportunity to improve over time.

That eventually ends up with you being, doing, or having what you once aspired to.

After achievement, you continue the cycle by returning to aspiration and going for what’s next.

You can easily stay invested and involved in the process when you have…

"A" Framework for Achievement. 👊🏾
