Nursing Considerations • May cause aplastic anemias, hypoglycemia, photosensitivity, dizziness,
drowsiness, headache, diarrhea
• Monitor CBC, assess for allergy to sulfonamides
• Beta blockers may increase signs of hypoglycemia
• Instruct patient on how to check blood sugars and
