Between 1978 and 2001, at least 65 women disappeared from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. The investigation of the missing women would lead authorities to the largest crime scene in Canadian history. The case would become a flash point in the wide issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in Canada.
