Followers of Jesus are called to be holy and set-apart as sojourners and exiles. Belonging to Jesus means that you have been born again and made a citizen of the Kingdom of God! As citizens of God's Kingdom, Peter exhorts us to live and to look different in this world.

This invitation to live and look different in our character and conduct is the very foundation of our witness as ambassadors and representative of Christ to a watching world.
