NZ - Malak Tamimi is a 16-year-old Palestinian Zealander who, upon returning from a visit to her Palestinian West Bank homeland, ntered the latest Race Unity Speech Awards. She won two awards, the Tohu Eke Panuku — Human Rights Commission Award for Impact and the Tohu Manukura i te Reo — Māori Language Commission Award for Te Reo Māori.
