We have a formulas, ideas & inspiration for setting a lovely & simple table every night. This episode is inspired by Jackie W one of our long time listeners who emailed us about this very topic. Thank you Jackie!! It is easy to elevate your everyday table with our tips. Listen in! Make it simple to create a lovely table everyday by keeping your key pieces within easy reach. You won't make the effort if it takes too much time, especially on busy week nights. No rummaging through cabinets nightly. Choose a few pieces and keep them handy. These will be the elements in your formula for a simple, but lovely table. Suggestions are a small tray, a set of candle sticks with tapers, pretty salt & pepper shakers or a salt cellar and cloth napkins at the ready, wrinkles are ok! Layering on the table doesn't have to be complicated to be pretty. Use a runner, placemat or tablecloth for a layer & softness. Stack two plates and place the napkin on the plate. Done! Always light those candles, even if it is a tiny votive. A single flame changes the atmosphere. Kelly has a lovely summer table set HERE (https://mysoulfulhome.com/summer-table-decor/).
