In the fourth episode of Breaking Barriers, I was joined by Marion Sloyan. Sloyan is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina, and a women's tennis team member at Piedmont University. Sloyan grew up in an athletic family, and she faced a lot of pressure due to her parents playing at a Division 1 school.
Episode 2 of Varsity Voices, hosted by Hailey Johnson, brings on Chloe Spradlin, a senior mass communications and sports communications double major at Piedmont University. Chloe is currently a member of the Piedmont women's soccer team, however Piedmont is not where her college career started.

White is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and a member of the women's volleyball team at Piedmont University, majoring in Political Science and Psychology. White has experienced different cultural shocks, from attending a private school, with the majority of the class population being white, to then moving to a public school with more diversity.

Victoria Martin joined me in the second episode of Breaking Barriers. Martin is a former women's golf team member at Piedmont University. She is a native of Perry, Georgia, and Martin started taking golf a little more seriously in her junior year of high school. Although a few other black girls were on Martin's high school team, Martin came into Piedmont being the only one in her first year.
In the first episode of Breaking Barriers, I was joined by Jia Weathersby. Weathersby is a Junior volleyball player majoring in Marketing. She is a native of Athens, Tennessee, and started playing volleyball a little later than others. In the first episode, Weathersby discusses her process of coming onto the Piedmont women's volleyball team, being one of the two black girls on the team. Weathersby also talks about a few struggles she's had in high school playing club volleyball, including being judged due to her skin color.
