Are we making decisions with an eventual goal, aim or plan in place?

As I have talked about before, our dream life, income, partner, etc. will not just fall into our lives one day. These are things we have to work towards and for. These are things we have to invest in, learn about, grow in and have a plan of action as to how we will achieve them.
