Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” John 6:28-29

Have you wondered what God wants from you? I know I have. I've often wondered what He wants me to DO to be more like Him. John 6:28-29 provides the answer, "believe in Him whom He sent." It almost seems too easy and not enough, until one actually starts to live it. You see, if we are to believe in Him, then we need to live His words and do what He instructs, which can be harder than getting that proverbial camel through the needle eye!

Believing in and living for Christ has always been a source of frustration for me when I tried to do it. As a man, I've done what I thought I should. I've made plans and set so many goals, only to fail and fail and fail! So frustrating and discouraging. And then, when I gave my life truly over to Him, submitted to His will and asked Him to empower me because I couldn't do it did things change! Only when I surrendered, did I really begin living...
