Today, we read about Jesus's birth and how he was left in Jerusalem by His parents. In addition, Jesus was confirmed to be the Messiah by those filled with the Holy Spirit at the temple when he was just an infant. 
Today's reading is most often read during the Christmas season. However, you can't have His resurrection without His birth first!
