A rookie mistake is to create and release your episode one by one. Once you get going with your podcast, you’re going to be scripting and editing multiple episodes at the same time. Build up a reserve of episodes and have them ready to go a few weeks out from their release date. This will allow you to release teasers on social media, build up some buzz, and get a head start on your social posts and any complimenting blogs you’re releasing. All of this is one of the reasons we suggest you begin to record and produce a few weeks ahead of your official release date. It just makes your life easier.
