This week's history making woman is a recipient of the 2022 Top 25 Women of Influence Lifetime Achievement Award, began her career in the Nunavik education system, and is one of the world's most well-known human rights and environmental advocates. Siila Watt-Cloutier advocates for human and environmental rights, is an Officer of the Order of Canada, a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, and the recipient of many prestigious awards for her work.

She graduated from Loyalist College's Broadcast Journalism program and was first heard on the air at the college radio station, 91x, which airs episodes of "Women Making History".
