Alexander Andras is a trans man who shares his very open, and difficult journey about transitioning from a woman to a man in a rural community, within a religious family.
It was middle school where Alex started to embrace “masculine things.” Since understanding their gender identity, Alex has gone through multiple surgeries to affirm who he is. As liberated as Alex is, he is here to affirm and teach, and we are so lucky to have this conversation!

We are so fortunate to live in a time where people like Alex are alive, to advocate and transform the way trans people are able to thrive in this world, in society, sports and beyond! Alex is pursuing his career in hockey and talking at public speaking events.
