Advent is about hope.

It is a season where, thrust into the part of the year where the days are short and dark, we are reminded of the message of John 1, light has come into the world. Advent is the time where we remember that right into the heart of darkness, light has come. And so, at its heart, Advent is a season of waiting. It literally means in the Latin, to come. It's a season where we remember that Jesus came and he promised that he will come again.

If you're interested in knowing more about the hope of Jesus, we are starting an Alpha course in January and there's a seat for you.
