Win the morning, win the day - an old adage that passed in one ear and out the other far too many times before I realised it's undeniable truth.
If a morning is filled with bad food, snoozed alarms and a lack of intention, then it surely sets the trend for the rest of the day - and playing on the backfoot for a 'comeback' isn't an efficient way to expend energy.
If however the morning is injected with intention, nurturing of the gut and a few healthy discomforts, then we are preparing for a day we'll be proud of when hitting the pillow later that night.
In this episode I talk about some staples that have been in my morning routine for as long as I remember. It's funny, small actions compound, and as we grow familiar with them, we take them for granted or forget that we even do them (second nature), but upon reflection, these few consistent staples are what gave me clarity and structure during darker times of my life.
I hope you enjoy!
