Let's get smarter about tech in less than 15 minutes! In this week's episode:

  • Elon Musk did a 360 on Twitter: he got offered a board seat, accepted, then refused, then tried buying the whole thing. Frustrating.
  • Meta started allowing creators to sell Metaverse gadgets. They'll retain a 25% fee on top of a 30% platform fee, for a total of almost 50%. Apple's 30% tax doesn't seem too bad now.
  • The police stopped a self-driving car in San Francisco. They looked confused.
  • Walmart increased the starting salary for truck drivers to ~$100k, while Alphabet's company Wing started delivering goods with autonomous drones in Dallas.
