We hope you truly benefit from this edition of Daily in the Word!  In our portion of Scripture today (John 19:16-27) we witness the crucifixion of Jesus. John tells us what happened in a simple and straightforward way. He doesn't provide much detail; the people he wrote to would have been very familiar with what a crucifixion entailed. Yet this is a key moment as Jesus paid the full price for our sin in these moments.
