Spices to Control COVID-19 Symptoms: Yes, but Not Only

A timeless article, one to consider as the many ways to treat cold and flu symptoms. Three phases of COVID; viral infection, inflammation 'storm', and post covid (think long covid). Jala Neti will help decrease viral loads and improve the likelihood of a true negative COVID swab. Steroids remain the underpinning conventional treatment for the inflammation stage. Recovery may last months. Application of spices during all three phases of viral infections are helpful, as do foods such as fermented foods and broccoli. Conventional treatment with paracetamol alongside Ginger, Turmeric, Green Tea provide a solid foundation of symptom treatment. Berberine and Zinc were not effective. Broccoli with Black Pepper, Ginger and other spices including Wasabi prolong healing qualities of the studied ingredients when used together. Herbs and Spices are sustainable and generally available for people more so than conventional treatments. Toxic doses of spices are not a risk whereas conventional drug use can reach toxic levels with a handful of pills.
