Dr. Enin Rudel holds a PsyD. in Organizational Leadership Psychology with a concentration in the Neuroscience of Leadership and an MSW in Clinical Social work. Dr. Ernest J. Barthélemy is the Division Chief of Neurosurgery at the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York, and the founding president of the Society of Haitian Neuroscientists. A Brooklyn-born Haitian-American New Yorker, Dr. Barthélemy obtained his MD and neurosurgery residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. From 2017 to 2019, he was a Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Fellow at Harvard University. He also completed a Master of Public Health degree with concentrations in Global Health and Public Health Leadership at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. As a scientist, his research focuses on advancing global health equity and improving outcomes in populations disproportionately burdened by acute neurosurgical disorders. Dr. Barthélemy also sits on the Global Health Task Force of the International League Against Epilepsy and is the 2021-2023 Co-Chair of the Young Neurosurgeons Forum of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.

Lisa Hurley is an Anthem Award-winning activist, speaker, and writer whose work focuses on racism, neurodiversity, and destigmatizing introversion.
Ms. Hurley is the Co-Founder and Co-Host of The Introvert Sisters Podcast, the Host of Real Talk on Racism, and a member of the Black Speakers Collection. She has been selected as one of Taplio's 100 Best LinkedIn Influencers and is a Favikon Top 10 LinkedIn Creator in Inclusion and Diversity worldwide.

Sharon Hurley Hall is on a mission to fight racism and to help lead the way to equality. She is the Co-Founder of Diverse Leaders Group. It's a brand-new startup that aims to create equality for all via leadership support and development, community action, and education. Her role is to make sure we live up to our anti-racism commitments. She also co-leads her Anti-Racist Leaders Association, which supports people stepping up to take the lead in anti-racism. At DLG, they are doing everything differently. Today the sisters will share what it means to: "Not Be Your Strong Black Woman."

Dr. Enin Rudel holds a PsyD. in Organizational Leadership Psychology with a concentration in the Neuroscience of Leadership and an MSW in Clinical Social work. As an organizational psychologist, through dialogic practices, he creates space for employees to bring their authentic selves into the workplace. She voices how not to put candidates in an unsafe environment. He is a thought leader and an innovator in DEI. Dr. Rudel's approaches are rooted in emotional intelligence, and his award-winning publication titled: "Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Social Architecture, and Black Male Leadership" offered the first resource for global DEI leaders on how to elevate retention and leadership of Black male executives. He will share the importance of emotional intelligence and leadership and how it benefits leaders.

Have you ever wondered why there are health disparities in the black community?Dr. Ernest J. Barthélemy is the Division Chief of Neurosurgery at the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York, and the founding president of the Society of Haitian Neuroscientists. A Brooklyn-born Haitian-American New Yorker. 

Dr. Barthélemy obtained his MD and neurosurgery residency training at Mount Sinai at the Icahn School of Medicine. From 2017 to 2019, he was a Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Fellow at Harvard University.

He also completed a Master of Public Health degree with concentrations in Global Health and Public Health Leadership at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. As a scientist, his research focuses on advancing global health equity and improving outcomes in populations disproportionately burdened by acute neurosurgical disorders. Dr. Barthélemy also sits on the Global Health Task Force of the International League Against Epilepsy and is the 2021-2023 Co-Chair of the Young Neurosurgeons Forum of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.
