Mary Reynier is one of the biggest names in whisky, particularly Scotch. More than two decades ago he saw the future in a derelict distillery. That distillery was Bruichladdich. Not only did he and his team revive the reputation of the brand but they also revolutionized Scotch and played a major role in the whisky renaissance we are experiencing today. He recently began a new venture in Ireland with Waterford Distillery and is continuing to shake things up.
