I had a friend call me up, 

"Scott, I was watching this movie... and I thought of you."

In my mind was this thought... "Scott, the cinematography was so beautiful, I thought this is a Scott Wilhite film."

or

"Scott the story was so well done, I just thought that's the kind of story Scott would produce."

But no. 

He was watching this story about a guy who is getting beaten down by life and wondering if he even made a difference at all. 

"Maybe... sometimes... probably not that much."

But then the kicker... 

"But it just doesn't seem right to stop trying."
