Episode 040. Woosh. There is was. My life flashing before my eyes while I was on an operating table a couple months ago. What meaning of life did I see in those moments? What mattered the most to me?

Today is a must listen!

I'm going to dive into sharing some ways you can search your own meaning and purpose, reflecting on the fragility of life, as well...

...I reveal what kind of shocking life expectancy is in my genes.

This episode I touch on:

  • living long but living ready
  • postpardum depression
  • why I talk about depression on my memoirkast
  • female empowerment
  • loving the ones we are with
  • leaving legacy in our life's work

and I offer journal prompts that will help you get real about some of these things with pen and paper.

This episode honors the life of Mildred Louise Leach (Millie), age 102, of Wilmington Delaware. A woman I'm proud to call my grandmother. She earned her masters degree in Biblical Education and taught for many years in various schools, including a girls school. My cousins says "she was an example of female empowerment" and he can't be more right. She was a fan of the Phillies and Eagles and was always up for a good debate. Love you real big, Grandma.
