Episode 005. Are you a person who likes to scribble outside the lines? I am. Have you ever seen yourself in a horse? I have. Today I dive into the childhood scribbles my Grandma tried to control and how it affected me as an artist.
You'll laugh at how I flubbed up a portrait painting my daughter calls the "blue chimpanzee-smurf", and you'll marvel at the wild horse that taught me a lesson in the roundpen.
"If I am the horse and Grace is my trainer and art is my round pen.... I still often bucket the restraints of training, of coloring in the lines like Grandma Williams showed me. But Grace is ever so patient and keeps capturing my heart over and over."
I also share one of my fears of releasing this podcast...which has to do with YOU, my listener. Tune in to hear juicy scoop.
