Episode 030. Have you had a big let down? Me too. Today I tell all about one of my life's biggest disappointments, but really I discovered that more than any of the circumstances I was mostly disappointed in myself. Why? Listen in to find out.

This episode includes true crime. A neighbor arrested for bones found on his property, but first!... The drama gets started with some serious Acts of God, landslides and forest fires. All of these things are out of my control but yet I'm so very disappointed. Through the stress of it all I get a case of insomnia, I'll continue next week to tell you how I started sleeping again.

I tell you about what I'm learning from Brene Brown's Atlas of the Heart and how she describes expressed expectations leading to disappointment. It's hard to be vulnerable to express our hopes and dreams, especially when they lead to a big let down.
