Genesis 18-23 (February 14-20)

This week we cover the latter half of Abraham's life!
The Lord's promises to Abraham are also promised to Sarah. Lot narrowly escapes Sodom with divine help, but it comes at a cost. Abraham exercises immense faith in following God's commandment to sacrifice Issac—we identify some similarities between Christ and Isaac. We end by reflecting on Sarah's righteous life. As the father of many nations, Abraham certainly deserves two dedicated weeks of scripture study!
