We all experience loss or grief; it is part of the being human. Whether it is a personal loss or we are sad about something that has happened to someone else; how we handle or how we work through each situation matters. On one hand, we can decide to dwell on it, or sit in it for days and be miserable, or face it head on, accepting it and perhaps even learning from it. We can take the necessary steps to move forward, what ever that may be, so we can get on with our lives. But, what if we can not? We can be happy. Can we be happy? What does that mean anyway? Is there only one way to be happy? Does being happy mean that we are never sad or feel pain or heartache? What does it take for you, for me to be happy in our lives? What time if we have to work 2 3 jobs just to make ends meet. Can we be happy? What if we have outlived our family members and close friends? Can we still be happy?
