Keeping secrets can keep you from moving forward, can keeping you from healing, or can keep you from having the life you were meant to live. It may begin as an innocent omission of information or fact, as time goes on it can be much more. Perhaps you forgot to mention it the first time you had the conversation, but now you are intentionally not talking about it. Maybe you’ve decided you don’t want to get involved. Or maybe you’ve been sworn to secrecy.
When does a lie become a secret or a secret become a lie? Is it a lie if you believe it to be true? In one day, it was reported that the US president told 83 “untruths”. Is that a goal we should shoot for?
